This what is students are saying about Planet Bridge:
How we teach
We present a unique step-by -step approach to learning Bridge.
Our Apps
Kida: Trick-taking puzzles
Trick-taking is one fundamental aspect of Bridge. Through a series of progressively complex puzzles, our KIDA app guides learners through the concept, so they have a solid foundation to work on.
Hool: Competition and Partnership
While KIDA is a single-player series of puzzles, Hool is a multiplayer card game with both online and offline versions. By simplifying bidding—the most complicated aspect of Bridge—Hool teaches people how to plan ahead, strategize, and, more importantly, collaborate with their partners.
Download Hool (beta) for Android
Want to play Hool IRL? Download the board game!
Instructions:
Print back-to-back on A3 size paper
Cut along the marker lines
Laminate each piece (1 large and 12 small) to be able to use a whiteboard marker
And finally: Bridge!
While Hool and KIDA are both fun activities in themselves, our ultimate goal is of course to create more Bridge players. That's why Planet Hool focuses not just on teaching, but also on building a sense of community. In a time when the global pandemic drives people apart, we hope to do our small bit in bringing people together.
